Now lets take a look at Group C. The Group has a potential final four team as well as two mid level teams that hope to get into the sweet 16 and play spoiler. Take a look below to see how we think Tel Aviv, TJ Maleišce and BATS will play out.

Tel Aviv (2015 Results 6th)

imageTel Aviv is coming into the tournament as the fastest climbing team finishing 6th 2015, 10th 2014, and 20th 2014 (combined with Lille in 2014). Tel Aviv will likely cruise through group play with both BATS and Malešice be left to fight for second. With lacrosse in Israel booming and with their 4th place finish at the 2015 World Indoor Lacrosse Championships anything less then a top five finish will be a disappointment to Scott Neiss and Brad MacArthur.  Tel Aviv’s roster will see a lot of familiar faces Andrew Copeland will aim to keep his GAA below 4 and will need Bryan Hopper and Kyle Bergman to fill the net at the other end.  With a first place finish Tel Aviv will play E2 and that group is pretty much up for grabs.  2016 Predication 3-6

Malešice (2015 Results 9th)

imageMalešice will be rocking their traditional blue and yellow uniforms, that could double as team Sweden. Malešice finished a respectful 9th in 2015. Their biggest game of the tournament will be vs. the BATS with the winner likely finishing 2nd in the group and a chance to upset a team or two in the playoff rounds. Right now our money is on Malešice to come out of the Group as the second seed. 2016 Prediction 9-16

BATS (2015 Results 16th)

imageThe Boys from Bratislava are one of the fan favourites gaining a lot of respect over the past several years. Just like Malešice their success will come down to one game. With the winner moving on and the loser sent packing to lower bracket. Will this be the year the BATS get back into the winners column and turn some heads? If the bats can pull out the upset they will move onto play A1 which most likely will be the Pioneers. 2016 predictions 13-17
